Mark W. Leonard is Vice President, Process and Product Development at Allogene Therapeutics Inc. In this role, he is responsible for strategy and tactics for end-to-end allogeneic CAR T cell process and analytical development, tech transfer and GMP manufacturing outcomes. Prior to joining Allogene, Mark was Executive Director, Cell and Gene Therapy Technical Development at Pfizer where he led the establishment of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) capability build in response to evolving Research CGT priorities and needs. Mark has 28 years broad experience in mammalian and microbial cell line and process development and characterization, and GMP cell banking at Pfizer, Wyeth and Genetics Institute.
